I have to credit Diane Hopkins for opening my mind to an alternative to drill, fill, and bill when she wrote an article for her newsletter over a decade ago about healing cavities. Two of my kids have dental appointments on Monday. If I hear the news that they have cavities, this video is our answer! Ramiel Nagel will teach you how to have strong teeth, based on the work of Dr. Weston A. Price.

Me as an adult in my mid-20's...  I had been to the dentist for one last cleaning before we lost our insurance coverage and he pointed out two cavities-- I distinctly remember the feeling of his little pick thingie sticking in them.  I was not able to get them filled at the time.  I was way into Dr. Christopher herbs at the time (though not eating the best diet...) so I started using the tooth powder every day as toothpaste and putting a little extra on those particular teeth after I brushed.  A period of 2-3 years went by before I could go to the dentist again.  I didn't use tooth powder that whole time, but for a lot of it.  When I finally went back to the dentist I was terrified that I was going to need a root canal or something because I knew those cavities had been sitting there all that time... but they weren't there.  Not at all.  No sign of them, and nothing for the pick to stick in.  That was years ago, and I haven't had any problems in those teeth since.

The only problem I had with using Dr. Christopher's tooth powder as my regular toothpaste was that my teeth got kind of dingy looking-- kind of grey and dull, you know.  I switched to Jason Naturals Powersmile whitening toothpaste which is all-natural and keeps them nice and white.  I should still use a little Dr. C's tooth powder on them after I brush or switch off or something, I've just gotten out of the habit.  Haven't had any problems with cavities since then...

Was that on yourself or a child?

I once filled in some cavities using Dr. Christopher's tooth powder over a period of many months.
